1. What IS the purpose of BargainHuntingMoms.com?

BargainHuntingMoms.com is a website devoted to helping YOU find the best deals on items you want and need for your family. Our devoted(ha...addicted) internet bargain hunters seek out the best deals that we can possibly find for you and post them on our blog. When you see a deal on our home page, we guarantee it is a REAL deal! You're not finding something reduced that was at a way over-inflated price to start with. We are all about helping YOU find deals and saving you time and money. If you can find the best deal, you'll be back and that's our goal!

2. What's in it for YOU? (I mean you bargain hunters at BargainHuntingMoms!)

Ok, we'll be honest. Every time you click through our links and purchase one of our deals--or even make a purchase through one of our store links--we receive a small commission on your purchase. It's only fair that the Bargain Hunters receive a little back, right? We hope if you like the deals you see here that you'll come back and shop through our store links so that we're inspired to keep hunting down those bargains!

3. Who are you?

I'm Lana. I'm a Bargain Hunting Mom who lives in Florida. We just moved here over the summer from Maine. Yes, it's quite a change! I've been shopping on-line for YEARS and have had very few negative experiences. I remember the days when we could find coupon codes for $20 off $20 or $10 off $20 with free shipping. Those days are gone, but there are still plenty of bargains to be had on line if you know where to look.

4. Is internet shopping safe?

I think so! Your information is encrypted and like I said, I have never had a problem with security while shopping on-line. Don't be scared. When you're making a purchase, just make sure that the URL(address) in your browser starts with "https://" That means you're on a secure server. If you don't see that as you're checking out, don't check out!

5. Ok, I've decided to take the plunge. What's the first thing I should do?

First, decide what store you want to visit and look for a coupon for that store.

6. You just lost me. COUPON?

Yes, just like in REAL life many on line stores offer coupons you can use to make your on line purchases. NEVER make a purchase without looking for a coupon. We're working at keeping ours updated, but if you need one and can't find it listed, you can always email us and we'll try to find one.

7. How do I use the COUPON?

For most sites, there's a box to add a coupon code at check out. It might say "Have a coupon code, click here" or the box might be right at the check-out. The coupon code could also be called "promo code" or "on line code." Enter it and be sure that the coupon comes off before you submit your final order. Chances are if you don't see the discount when you check out, you won't GET the discount.

8. Then what?

Once you've placed your order--with your coupon, of course--just sit home and wait for the UPS man or mailman to ring your bell. There? Wasn't that much more fun and easier than going to the mall? I bet you got a better deal, too!
